Dungeons of Candlekeep
This is our 5 day Dungeons & Dragons campaign for kids aged 7-16. The campaign will take place from July 21st through July 25th at 1pm-5pm. This is a great way for kids to learn Dungeons and Dragons with our experienced Dungeon Masters leading each group. Besides 4 days of adventure each kid will get a copy of the new 2024 Player's Handbook, a set of dice, a miniature to represent their character in the game. Each day we will also provide at least 2 snacks (small bags of chips/crackers, and bottled waters.)
This is an adventure written especially for our Young Adventurer’s Guild. This new adventure will be starting everyone off at level 1 and build from there through the week and future adventures.
The Schedule will be as follows:
Monday: Check-in and Character Creation. Training will start with character creation and learning how to step into the role your kiddo wants to become: mighty warrior, powerful wizard, stealthy rogue, divine cleric... the list goes on and on!
Tuesday: Time for choices! When a road forks two ways, the Young Adventurer’s Guild must choose which route to take... and overcome the obstacles and face the consequences of those decisions.
Wednesday: As the plot thickens, so does the danger, the roleplay, the importance of choices... and the treasure!
Thursday: With the danger edging in closer than ever before, will the Young Adventurer’s Guild rush headstrong into the plot or will they get help from some old friends? It's time for critical planning and discovering the hidden secrets... and, did we mention treasure?
Friday: The Finale. Face down the villain in a climactic battle that will decide the fate of all of Denaria as well as have an impact on the direction of the next seasonal adventures!
FAQ:
Will past Dungeon Masters Zack, LeAnne, Seth, James, and/or Keith be returning?
· We will have as many of the return as we can.
Does my child need any D&D experience to join the summer camp?
· No experience necessary. Each player will be creating a new character which they can take home with them and we will store here digitally if they return to future camps.
What should my child bring with them?
· Paper and Pencil with eraser, and an open mind for adventure and meeting new people.
Who will by kids be grouped with?
· We do our best to keep similarly aged kids together and with the same DM's when possible. Also there is a place down below to list any other kids they would like to be in a group with and we will do our best to fill requests.
